 Little Bidlake is the ideal spot for that extra special occasion, such as a wedding reception, birthday party or anniversary celebration.
New for 2011 Gazebo for civil ceremonies on site.
Choose from either a weekend/3 day break with a choice of marquee or a midweek day wedding in our new gazebo. Civil ceremonies/partnerships will be available from 2011.
Marquee wedding
Our aim is to make your special day run smoothly, in a relaxed manner, unique to your needs.
We are just minutes from the A30 dual carriageway, set in spectacular surroundings on our 100 acre farm
The whole complex would be exclusively yours for the 3 day break/weekend, with perhaps guests arriving Friday, the wedding Saturday and then enjoy Sunday relaxing before heading home later in the day. Your guests can of course extend their stay before or after the wedding for a holiday or short break.
We can sleep up to 34 people in our 6 cottages and there is plenty of accommodation in Bridestowe village and nearby to sleep up to 200 more (all contacts are on our Wedding Links)
By hiring our complex all the guests are your family and friends, so the entertainment does not have to end at midnight if everyone is having fun the party can continue for a few hours!!
Planning your event can easily be arranged by us to suit your individual requirements or if you prefer to organise things yourself then this is no problem. Marquees can be ordered any shape or size to suit with varied interiors and can take up to 350 guests if required. There is space for extra catering marquees for hot food preparation, and we have plenty of parking facilities. The electric hook ups by the lawns can accommodate floodlighting, music etc, we also provide a water supply into the marquee. We can discuss the catering, flowers, bar facilities (we have a licence), music and entertainments etc in due course should you wish to make a booking for your wedding here.

Civil ceremony day wedding
Available in our gazebo is a mid-week day wedding. Hire our venue for upto five hours on a tuesday, wednesday or thursday and get married in our beautiful new gazebo. Ideal for a small, intimate wedding. This is available for £350.
Decorate it with your own ideas, or just leave the beautiful green oak frame on display fora unique wedding with our beautiful rolling countryside as a backdrop. Just perfect.
Celebrate after the ceremony with either:

Cream tea scone with Devon clotted cream and jam or

Homemade savoury scones, butter, cream cheese and chutney served with olives, crisps and nuts. (all at £5 per head)
If you wish to hire a ground floor cottage to prepare before the wedding ceremony and celebrate, relaxing after the ceremony for a while this is available for £100.
If guests of the wedding party wish to stay the night in the accommodation this is available for £40 p.p.p.n
